Rotary Honour for our Secretary

On Saturday, 1st July, 2023 Lois and I attended the 65th Annual Changeover Dinner of the Rotary Club of Concord, held at the Concord Golf Club as guests of the outgoing president, Allan Petersen.

After enjoying a lovely meal we came to the business of the evening. As part of this, we were totally surprised when Lois’ name was called. She was gifted with a Paul Harris Fellow Award for her 54 years of service to the local community through the City of Canada Bay Heritage Society. This is the third time she has received this award, as indicated by the two sapphires mounted on the pin. This is the highest honour that any Rotary Club can award.

Congratulations, Lois, for this worthy recognition of 54 faithful years of service to your local community.

Sharon Weismantel
