I know that Sanders Parade was named after my late father Edward Joseph Sanders, a resident of Concord from 1925 until 1986. I have the relevant documentation to support this. Documentation includes a letter from the Town clerk, Mr Mendel, dated 28 November 1945 advising the naming of new street Sanders Parade and a reply accepting the honour from my father dated 30 Nov 1945. Further to this, I have a letter from The City of Canada Bay dated 3 May 2013 confirming that they also have copies of the fore mentioned documentation.
I am happy to discuss this with you further.
Kind regards,
Dave Sanders
