Bayard Street
I am unable to ascertain the reason for this choice of name in relation to Concord. The only reference to such a name that I have discovered relates to several people of this surname throughout history, including two who became Senators of the United States of America – the first of whom became the first representative of the United States in Great Britain to hold the Diplomatic Rank of an Ambassador (1893-1897); the second was his son, born 1868 and died 1942, therefore not so likely to have left his name here in Concord.
