A reminder that Greg Clancy will be our guest speaker at the museum on Saturday, 7th July at 1:30 for 2:00 pm sharp start. He will be speaking about his book, “Hitler’s Lost Spy”.
Greg uncovered the little-known story of Annette Wagner. Swiss-born and a world traveller, she was a fashion and beauty expert, a media identity on the ABC and commercial radio in Australia in 1938 and 1939 . . . and a Nazi spy.
Her access to public radio broadcasts to nationwide audiences gave her a secure channel to transmit coded messages and also assisted her in her more underhand activities.
These talks are open to anyone who would like to attend. Following the talk you are invited to join us for light refreshments and a chance look around our museum and chat with the speaker.
There is a poster under “Guest Speakers” in side column for full details. Please feel free to forward it on to anyone you think might be interested.
