If a Dog was your Teacher . . .

. . . these are some of the lessons you might learn.

  1. When a loved one comes home, always run to greet them.
  2. Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.
  3. Thrive on attention and let people touch you.
  4. When you’re happy, dance around and wag your entire body.
  5. Delight in the simple joys of life, like a long walk.
  6. Never pretend to be something you’re not.
  7. If something you want lies buried, dig until you find it.
  8. When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by, and nuzzle them gently.
