Yaralla Open Day
The City of Canada Bay Heritage Society again has the opportunity to take you on a guided tour around the grounds and outbuildings of this magnificent estate, which was built by Blackett with extensions by Sulman.
Isaac Nichols, who received the original land grants for this area, the Walker family who obtained the land from Nichols, and the estate itself have all played an important part in the history of Australia and you will learn about this during the tours.
There is also a large photographic display in the Squash Court, specially built for a visit by the Prince of Wales.
Cost: Adults $15, Concession $10, children free.
Devonshire teas can be purchased on the day.
