We’ve hit the magic milestone and can now see the light at the end of the tunnel.
At this stage, the City of Canada Bay Museum won’t be opening to the public immediately but we will use the time to clean the premises, which are looking a little sad following the nearly four months closure.
Our diligent band of members and volunteers are also planning several new displays so that, when we do open, a visit will be a whole new experience.
We are also looking forward to resuming our regular talks on Saturday afternoons with several interesting speakers already booked.
Keep watching our website or following us on Facebook to see when we will announce our Grand Opening.
Meanwhile, if you are interested in local history why not join us. We are always looking for new members and volunteers. You can drop in to our museum, at 1 Bent Street, Concord on any Wednesday or Saturday to join us for a cuppa and a chat. This museum is separate from the City of Canada Bay Council and is run entirely by members and volunteers of the City of Canada Bay Heritage Society.
